Founded by Kentaro Kusumoto, a professional golf instructor with international competitive experience, the academy blends technical precision with practical on course results. Born and raised in Vancouver, Canada and now based in Nasushiobara, Tochigi, Kentaro brings a global perspective to his coaching, combining North American fundamentals with Japanese discipline and detail.
Kentaro has competed professionally on tours such as the Vancouver Golf Tour and has pursued opportunities at the highest levels, including Q School stages and international professional tests. That experience shapes the way he teaches. Every lesson is designed with performance in mind, whether you are breaking 100 for the first time or preparing for tournament play.
At Kusumoto Golf Academy, lessons focus on:
